Sadie. . . the acrobat!

It may be hard to visualize this but, just look at the picture. Sadie was laying on the boppy--head way back trying to look at the tv. She kept pushing and pushing with those little feet trying so hard to watch that tv. Finally, with one big push, her feet went flying over her head, sending herself backwards over the boppy. Needless, to say she was very pleased to find herself off the boppy and belly down on the floor.

Taylor loves apples!

Taylor LOVES apples! This is one food I can always count on her eating. Usually she likes for me to cut it and peel it for her but, this day she barely let me wash it! She wanted to eat it whole. . . and that she did. . .peeling, core, and all!

Happy Halloween. . . all week!

It's been an entire week of Halloween events. . .from trunk or treat at Marble Plains with Lily and Hudson, to T or T at our church on Wednesday, a trip to an assisted living place here in town on Thursday with the Preschool, to finally Halloween night! Taylor was a beautiful flower and Sadie was just Sadie. It's all been fun but, I'm now glad Halloween is over.

Sadie at 2 months

Well, goodbye to baby acne. . . here comes that beautiful little face! Though she's not smiling in this picture, she's definitely full of smiles these days. She gets so excited when we talk and sing to her especially when Taylor's around. She quickly tunes into Taylor and watches her every move. And, for now, Taylor still loves her and wants to hold her and love on her. . . sometimes a little too close. . . like right in the mouth. But, they do truly love each other.

Taylor had her 1st day at Preschool this morning. It's more like Mother's Day Out since, it's only for 3 hours, 2 day per week. But, whatever you call it, she was ready to go this morning. . . backpack on and excited about her day. We got there just a little before 8:30 a.m. I left her playing puzzles with 2 other little girls. When I picked her up, her teacher, Mrs. Jenny, said she went potty, had goldfish for snack, and did really. She didn't think I'd have any trouble leaving her. . .maybe getting her to go home would be the hard part. She's probably right!

6 weeks old today!

Can you believe it! Sadie is 6 weeks old today! I took her to the doctor yesterday and, she got a great check-up. She had gained nearly 3 1/2lbs. and grown 3 inches. So now she's 11lbs. 6oz. and 22 inches. I think she's eating well!

Taylor's new duds

When we were out Saturday in M'boro, I picked up a few new clothes for Taylor--some for the fall and some for next summer. She loved the skirt I bought for her! She put it on and began spinning around saying "princess". Of course, Troy's saying "where'd she learn that!" It was cute but, I think I'm going to have to hide it from her until next summer. . .along with the polka dot Puddle Jumpers (that are really getting too small and we're trying to save for sis) that she tries to sneak outside wearing for playtime. She's a true little girl--loving the shoes, clothes, bags, and hats!

Our newest addition

Thought I would re-cap some memories of our 1st month with Sadie.
I decided to create a blog page for our growing little family. One, because it's been on my project list for a while now; two, I'm not very good at facebook--I still haven't figured out how to add pics. to my account yet; and, three, hopefully, this will be a fun and easy way for our family and friends to keep up with our busy, yet oh so FUN, lives.
